This fireplace was just a regular wood mantle until the application of a special, stone like  material and 2 glaze layers transformed it into a beautiful, warm focal point!

This stone block finish was created using multiple layers of reactionary color glaze, and a lot of tape. Taking 4 days to complete, this adds a great accent to this room!
