Faux (pronounced 'FO') finishes throughout history have been used to create depth, dimension, and the illusion of space. In addition, we have become less satisfied with single, solid color, and more enamored with broken, more elegant finishes. The use of faux finishes can enhance decor, become a focal point, or be a visually interesting accentuation.
